From large diameter headers to skid mounted system or complete plant rooms Mayfield Engineering can provide a cost effective solution for off site fabrication to the building services industry.

Plant Rooms

These photographs show one of four large plant rooms being built in our workshop. Each comprised four separate fabricated modules.

Each plant room contained three boilers, water heater, pressurisation units and chilled water pumps. All pipework fabricated and fitted off site.

Following manufacture, Mayfield arranged all transport and cranage to lift the plant rooms to the roof of a four floor building. The modules were then bolted together, the builders then completed the construction.

The benefits of off site manufacture include lower cost, better quality, fewer site deliveries, minimum site work and better health & safety.

Work can start ahead of program, reducing overall project time.
