2008
is our 10th anniversary and we look forward to our second decade of
continuing success as a leading provider of professional industrial
engineering support services.
Since our founding in 1998, the company has consistently grown year on year both its customer base and turnover, with a high proportion of our business coming from a strong core of established and satisfied clients, both SME and Blue Chip organisations from across the UK.
We would like to thank the many businesses, large and small, that in our early years recognised our dedication to great customer service and, through their continued loyalty, have enabled us to grow our business to its present strength. These very valued clients are from a wide range of local companies including automotive, plastics, glass, water & wastewater and building services, demonstrating that our services are needed in most manufacturing sectors.
Mayfield prides itself on the expertise of our workforce, our most valuable asset. Their exceptional skills, experience and pride in performance have resulted in regular repeat business from many of our largest customers.

Given the current major investments in the water and wastewater industry by utility suppliers, Mayfield expects to be awarded further large contracts within this sector through 2008 and beyond.
Locomotive Maintenance Depots.
Over the last 3 years Mayfield has carried out urgent and extensive replacement and upgrading of refuelling pipework at a number of locomotive railway depots around the country. This work was necessary to comply with European legislation introduced in 2006, for the prevention of ground pollution by fuel leaked from underground pipework. The project was subcontracted to us by a leading UK rail industry contractor and is ongoing.
